1. Who is the data controller?

2. What data do we collect?
·Through the contact form and advice module on betterview.nl we collect: name, email address, and company name.
·Via Google Analytics (after consent) we collect anonymized usage data such as page views, session duration, and device type.
·Via PostHog (EU cloud, Frankfurt) we collect anonymized session data: page views, clicks, scroll behavior, and masked session recordings. Page text and form field values are masked and not stored. No personal data.
·To recognize business visitors we use Leadinfo. Leadinfo resolves the IP address to the company name and public company details, and sets a cookie for this. We rely on legitimate interest and use it solely to see which organizations visit our website; individual consumers are not identified.
·We do not collect special categories of personal data.
3. Purpose of processing
·Name, email, and company name are used to follow up on lead requests and to send relevant information about our services (on the basis of legitimate interest or consent).
·Email addresses may be added to our email list via MailerLite, only if you have explicitly consented.
4. Retention
·Lead form data is retained for up to 24 months after last contact, or until you ask us to delete it.
·Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.
5. Your rights
·You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email mark@betterview.nl to request this.
·You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
6. Opt-out: disable tracking
·You can disable anonymized session analytics (PostHog) at any time via the 'Disable tracking' button at the bottom of every page. Your preference is stored locally in your browser.
·You can decline Google Analytics via the cookie banner at the bottom of the page, or by removing the 'cookieConsent' cookie from your browser.
·Leadinfo B2B visitor recognition only loads after you accept the cookie banner. Remove the 'cookieConsent' cookie to opt out again.
